This is hands down, the best guacamole I’ve ever had! And the best part? It’s super simple to make. I honestly think it will become a staple in this house. The kids devoured it as soon as I finished taking photos of the food for this blog post. That’s how good it is!
Let me preface this by saying I was not a fan of guacamole at all. Not sure why, though. Maybe it was because of the ingredients in the ones that I’d tried? Who knows! One day something just clicked and I was like, “This is what I’ve been missing out on?!?” I am now kicking myself for all of those times I’ve ordered dishes that had guacamole with them and I declined the guac. What was wrong with me?
Ingredients
3 avocados, halved, seeded and peeled
1 lime, juiced
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 medium onion, diced
1 Roma tomato, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 glove garlic, minced
Instructions
1. Cut the lime in half. Squeeze one half of lime juice over the avocado.
2. Mix avocado with the onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic.
3. Add the other half of the lime juice to the mixture and stir.
4. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour and then serve.
